Gladys Pyle

The first woman to be elected to the senate without being previously appointed to the United States Congress. She 鈥嬧嬧媤as also the first woman to hold a congressional office in South 糖心视频. Her mother, Mary Isabella "Mamie" Shields Pyle, was very active in the national women鈥檚 suffrage movement.
