Image Promo Paragraph

Image Promo – Paragraph Component

This element can be used to make text stand out and call out certain areas, as well as to group and categorize similar areas together. The eyebrow text can help draw attention to your topic and/or guide your audience.

When to use it

Navigation to additional topics of interest or next steps.
Promote program or another page.
Categorize content.
Visually spruce up text content with media and links.
Add style.

Where to use it

Can be used both inside/outside in a normal group.
Use inside normal group only.

Features

Add images or videos. Note: Horizontal images work best for layout.
Use a title to introduce or offset the section.
Add eyebrow text and an icon to help categorize topics, emphasis importance or highlight content.
Optionally, you can include a date.
Content can be left- or right-aligned.
Choose a background color: either bone or white. Colors can be used to group the similar content.
Include primary and/or secondary links.

How to add – Image Promo Paragraph Component

Log into Drupal.
Go to page you wish to edit.
Click on + sign to enter a new paragraph component inside or outside of a group.
1. Click on + sign and add a "Group" first, if putting content inside of a group.
Choose Image Promo.
Complete the form details.
1. Title: Required
2. Description: Required
3. Eyebrow text: Required
  1. Eyebrow text adds quick context or category labels.
4. Icon: Required
  1. Click Add Media.
  2. Select Icons from the dropdown under the Category field.
  3. Click Apply Filters.
  4. Choose a preloaded icon that best matches your theme and content.
  5. Click Insert Selected.
5. Date: Optional
6. Media Type: Required
  1. Choose between Image or Video.
Click the carrot icon to expand Display Settings section.
1. Top Margin: Default or None
2. Choose alignment: Right, Left or Center
  1. Center alignment: The image or video will appear to the left of the text.
3. Background Color: Bone or White
  1. Note: The "Bone" color is only recommended if this Image Promo is not inside of a group. If placed inside a group, the background will be white.
Click the carrot icon to expand Media section.
1. Add your image or video.
Click the carrot icon to expand Links section.
1. Links: Optional
  1. Add primary and/or secondary links. Only one primary link can be added.
Click Save before exiting the paragraph.
Save page as "In progress" or "Ready to Review."
