You searched: A ribbon cutting ceremony for the new South ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Animal Disease Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (ADRDL) on the South ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ State University campus in Brookings will be held on Sept. 6. The ribbon cutting and a short program will begin at 4:30 p.m. and guided public tours will immediately follow the program, with the last tour departing at 7:30 p.m.
Afghan War Rugs: The Modern Art of Central Asia, an international exhibition of contemporary Afghan war rugs, opened Aug. 23 at the South ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Art Museum. The exhibition will be on view through Nov. 24, 2019.
Many of Harvey Dunn’s most iconic paintings are on display in Harvey Dunn: Fences, Cows, Plows and oxen at South ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Art Museum through Aug. 11. This exhibition, drawn from the museum’s extensive collection of Harvey Dunn paintings, celebrates the hard-working agricultural backbone of the state of South ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ.
"Flourish: Marjolein Dallinga & Jantje Visscher", a Jodi Lundgren curated exhibition, opens today at South ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Art Museum and runs through Aug. 4. As the museum’s curator of exhibits, Lundgren is adept at identifying and connecting artists and works with contrasting styles and mediums tied together through common themes and sources of inspiration.
The South ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Art Museum hosts the South ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ Governor’s 8th Biennial Art Exhibition, featuring works from 64 South ÌÇÐÄÊÓÆµ artists, Jan. 25 to April 20. The showing, the first of four statewide, represents all regions of the state and a wide variety of art forms.
